The alternator works by charging up the battery to power the starter motor, ignition, and all other electrical components, replacing the generator used in pre-1960s cars. If this fails, your car's electronics will follow.
Powerlite Dynalite provides the benefits of a modern alternator, whilst retaining the original appearance of a dynamo. All Lucas type Dynalites are identical in fitting to original units, requiring no fitting kits, brackets, or other modifications to the vehicle.
